2012-2104 - The oldest most original intact barn in the state of New Hampshire. Kevin restored the granite foundation of the the Rockledge Farm Barn in New Hampton, New Hampshire with barn preservationist, Ian Blackman. Kevin also built a series of stonewalls, patios, granite steps, and other projects at the property.
SMITHSONIAN FOLKLIFE FESTIVAL
Kevin was chosen to represent the State of New Hampshire at the 1999 Smithsonian Folklife Festival in Washington DC, participating with artisans from Romania and South Africa. Kevin demonstrated dry laid stonewall techniques and granite cutting.
LOWELL FOLK FESTIVAL
For the 20th annual Lowell Folk Festival (2006), which showcased "New England Traditions," Kevin was uniquely selected to demonstrate the craft of building dry-laid stonewalls.
